Graham Murphy Andrews, Sr., 76, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010.

Graham was born November 30, 1933, in Roanoke Rapids. He was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church, a member of Widow Son Lodge, a loving husband, father and grandfather. Graham was a former employee of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services, serving as a funeral assistant since the company's inception.

He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Mary Andrews; a sister, Helen Jenkins; and a brother, David Andrews.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Nethercutt Andrews, of Roanoke Rapids; his son, Jodie Andrews of Roanoke Rapids; his daughter, Pam Andrews of Goldsboro; his niece, Judy Babson Keeter of Wilson; two granddaughters, Camryn and Caroline Keeter of Wilson; a sister, Frances Crouch of Roanoke Rapids; a brother, Lloyd Andrews and his wife, Connie, of Roanoke Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 22, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Layne Wallace and Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will take place, following Masonic Services, at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
