Otto Holland Rites Wednesday:
Funeral services will be held at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Cottonwood Wed. at 2 p.m. for Otto Holland, 73, who died at 9 a.m. Monday at Brighton following an illness of three years.
The Rev, Mayhue of Centralia will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Old Cottonwood Cemetery.
The body will arrive at 11 a.m. Wednesday and lie in state at the church until the funeral hour.
Mr. Holland, a former resident of the Cottonwood and Roland communities, is survived by his widow, Dora Starkey Holland; three sons, Hubert of Omaha, Robert, in the United States Air Force in Michigan and William at home; a daughter Betty Patterson, of Brighton and four sisters, Mrs. Vernon Sanders and Elsie Carney of Cottonwood, Mrs. Merah York of Mt. Vernon, Indiana and Mrs. Alice Kirk of Alton.
A son, Bertis preceded him in death in World War II.
