Jack E. Baker, 79, Coalport, died Tuesday. He was born in Flinton, son of the late Harry "Roy" and Maria "Addie" (Boring) Baker. He married the late Barbara (Reilly). Surviving are three children: Michael of Flinton, Kathy McGarvey of Coalport and Patrick of Lyleville; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Harry "Pete" of Vinco. Jack was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport.
