I have corrections to suggest for Kate McBee.
First of all she seems to have fibbed about her age or those giving census information did not know her age so they guessed. The 1850 Census lists her birth year as 1836, in 1860 she is listed as born 1840, the 1870 lists her birth year as 1843 and by 1880 she is listed as born in 1850, although a closer look at the census and it appears it says she is 50 years old not 30, so that would give her birth date as 1830.
KATE B MCBEE was the daughter of ALICE COLE BENNETT, FAG #48705508 and
VARDRY MCBEE.
She was born in Mississippi, and her full name was CATHERINE "CATE" B MCBEE. The B may stand for her mother's last name BENNETT. CATHERINE CATES was her paternal Grandmother , whom she was named after.
Cate moved with her mother Alice Cole Bennett McBee and her brother, IRA WILLIAM MCBEE, and his family, along with her brother Vardry McBee Jr. to Texas.
