Vickie S. Caldera, 76, passed away Feb. 17, 2010, at JFK Hospital in Indio, Calif. after a short illness.
Vickie was born March 6, 1934 in Arizona.
She spent most of her life in Blythe. The greatest treasure for Vickie was her family.
Vickie was the mother of two daughters, Beatrice Caldera (Richard) and Marlene Sosa (Armando) of Blythe; two brothers, Angel (Hortencia) Soto of Blythe and Robert Soto of Blythe; two sisters, Trinidad Morales and Betty Dagnino, both of Banning, Calif.
Vickie is also survived by numerous grandchildren. Beatrice's grandsons are Tommy (Valerie) Caldera, Richard Caldera, Jr. and Ryan Caldera; great grandchildren, Tommy, Jr. and Gavin and from Marlene's family grandchildren are Erica, Manuel Salcedo (Rosie), Armando, Jr., Eric and Mario; and great-grandchildren Manuel, Jr., Alya, Guage and Marleyna. She was preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Soto of Blythe, and a sister, Ann Gay of Georgia.
Visitation for Vickie Caldera will be from 4-8 p.m. on Feb. 21, 2010 at Frye Chapel with Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. by Johnny Tellez.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Feb. 22, 2010 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary. Burial will follow immediately after at Palo Verde Cemetery.
