CROSBY -- Beatrice Charlotte Anderson, 93, Crosby, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at her home.

She was born Nov. 27, 1905, in Red Wing to Peter and Agnes (Lindblom) Leuthe. She graduated from Central High School in Red Wing in 1923. After a year of Normal Training, she taught in a one-room school in the Frontenac area. She married Albert A. Anderson in 1928 in Lake City. They lived there for 12 years. In 1940, they moved to Minneapolis where they owned and operated a restaurant. In 1973, they retired and moved to the Outing area. In 1981, they moved to Crosby. She was a charter member of the League of Minnesota Poets, former member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Outing, and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Crosby. She was an Outing area correspondent for the Crosby Courier. She published two books -- a book of poetry in 1985 and a book of short stories in 1995.

Survivors include two brothers, Russell Leuthe, Eau Claire, Wis., and Wesley Leuthe, Robbinsdale.

Her husband and one brother died earlier.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Mattson officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Crosby. Friends may call one hour before services Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund or Immanuel Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund.

Arrangements are with Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
