She died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002.
She was born July 11, 1919, in Crosby County. She married Earl Lee Waldrep Sr. on July 3, 1942. He died Jan. 30, 1975. She moved to Lubbock from Dickens in 1942. She was a homemaker and worked at Waldrep Supply Co., Furr's Cafeteria and as an elderly care giver.
She was active in Bean and Slaton elementary school's Parent Teacher Associations, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Earl Lee Jr. of Lubbock; two daughters, Anna Sue Meyer of Magnolia and Rita Cagle of Lubbock; four sisters, Zella Harris, Loneta Reid and Ava Mauldin, all of Lubbock, and Melba Jackson of Big Spring; and six grandchildren.
