The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Culler Funeral Home of North, with the Rev. Kenneth Reid officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery in North.
Mr. Brown was born in North, a son of the late Bernon and Lucille Connelly Brown. He was employed by Prosperity Furniture Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church of North.
Survivors include a son, Curt B. Brown of Pelion; a sister, Linda B. Adams of North.
