Bert P. Cook. Funeral services for Bert P. Cook, 73, of Norfolk, will be held 2 pm Tuesday at the Howser Mortuary with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 3 to 9 pm Monday at Howser Mortuary. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 16. Mr. Cook was born Dec. 14, 1890 to Mr. and mrs. Phillip Cook of Mynard. A retired carpenter and contractor, he had lived in Norfolk about 20 years. He is survived by a son, Eugene, of Gretna; two brothers, George of Hadar, and Forrest of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Mattsson of Norfolk, and Mrs. Minnie Wenke of Evanston, Wyo.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his widow, Tillie, his parents, a son, two brothers, and two sisters.
