On the 1910 Brooklyn Dist. 8, Kings Co., New York census, I found lighter (?) sailor Herman Vogel, 47, born in Germany; wife of 13 years Gesine Vogel, 40, Germany, had 4 kids, all living: sons or daughters: Herman C Vogel, 11, NY; Meta Vogel, 8, NY; Jeane (or Gesine) Vogel, 1 1/2, NY; boarder Max Mendel, 28, Germany and daughter Anna Vogel, 7, NY born.

On the 1930 Brooklyn Ward 9, Kings Co., NY census, I found shipline cooper Herman Vogel, 68, born in Germany; wife Gesene Vogel, 60, Germany; son or daughters born in NY: Herman Vogel, 30; Anna Vogel, 26 and stenographer Jean Vogel, 21. They resided on 59th Street (near Church Avenue).

On the 1940 Dist. 21, Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY census, I found in advertising Edward Horn, 32 and iron industry secretarty wife Jean Horn, 31, both U.S. born.

Jean's parents, Herman and Gesine Vogel, were last on the 1940 Dist. 7, Brooklyn, Kings, NY census, ages 78 and 70.
