Mr. Weaver was born Oct. 5, 1922, in Luray, and was the son of the late James Wesley Weaver and Mattie Sours Weaver. He was a textile worker at Avisco. On Nov. 27, 1999, he married Carolyn Ann Buracker, who survives. He is also survived by three sons, Warren Matthew Weaver and Rudy Weaver, both of Luray, and Luther Jenkins of Stanley; three daughters, Susan Marie Jenkins, Darlene Y. Sours and Charlene Y. Foster, all of Luray; a stepson, Billy Frank Buracker of Luray; a sister, Edith Weaver; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Weaver; and five brothers, Carl, Claude, Cecil, Ray William and Raymond Hunter Weaver.
Evangelist Earl E. Painter and Pastor Frank Painter will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.
Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
