G. S. Bowling Passed in Beat Three Friday.
George Smith Bowling, aged 67 years, died at this home near Shiloh, Beat Three, last Friday afternoon about six o'clock, following a short illness.
Funeral service was held from the Shiloh Baptist Church on Saturday afternoon at three o'clock, with Revs. Hunt and Dunn being the officiating ministers. Interment was in the Mount Olive cemetery an hour later.
Surviving the deceased are a wife, Mrs. Annie T. Bowling; three sons, Wilmer, Earn and Thomas Bowling; two daughters, Mrs. Effie Bell Cobb, Anniston, and Mrs. Ruby Henderson, Abanda; three brothers, Albert Bowling, Chambers County, and Joe and Hon Bowling, Arkansas, and three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Ross, Arkansas; Mrs. Ella Looser and Mrs. Mattie Cox, Chambers County.
Robinson & Cutler, local undertakers, were in charge of arrangements.
