Jacob Adams Sr. died on Saturday at 10:30 o’clock at the advanced age of 78 years. Mr. Adams was one of the greatest men that has lived in this township and has worked some in politics. He once was elected county treasurer of this county and served his term as such with credit to himself and his county. Mr. Adams was buried on Sunday at East Hill cemetery. Funeral services which were held at the M.E. church and conducted by Rev. Wells were largely attended.
