Captain Charles Harrod Campbell
The funeral of Captain Charles Harrod Campbell, 68, who died at his home, 2101 G Street Northwest Saturday morning will be held from the family residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Roland Cotton Smith will officiate and the body will be buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rear Admiral Kimball United States Navy; Brigadier General McComb United States Army; Paymaster General Harris United States Army; Commodore Davenport, Captain Templin Potts United States Navy; Herbert C. Hengstler, Dr. Frank B. Loring and Walter Davidge will be the pallbearers. Albion K. Parris, Gailland Hunt, Barry Bulkley, Colonel George Richards United States Marine Corps and William P. Metcalf will attend the services as representatives of the Sons of the Revolution. Captain Campbell, who had been connected with the Department of State for 33 years, is survived by his wife and one daughter and by a sister, Mrs. Oswald Charleton.
