Ruth Easton was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Bushnell, a daughter of William T. and Pearl Rose Short. She married Robert Sidney Easton, Sr. on March 25, 1944, in Peoria.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Blume and Robert Easton, Jr.; two sisters, Rosemary Kramm and Ann Simek; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Charles Easton and one foster daughter, Joan Olham Mason.
