Dorothy Pearl Veach, 90, of Luray, died on Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1912, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Elmer W. and Angie Ruth Shenk Batman.
Ms. Beach was employed as a cafeteria worker.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Stahl and Elinor Harlow, both of Luray; seven grandchldren; and 13 great grandchilden. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard E. Batman.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
