Everett Roy Seekford, 78, of Luray died Tuesday, Dec. 24, at Page Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1896 in Page County and was a son of the late Isaac N. and Bessie Beylor Seekford. Mr. Seekford was a retired employee of Virginia Oak Tannery in Luray and was a member of the Fletcher's Chapel Community Church. On Nov. 10, 1930 he married the former Vida V. Painter, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Loring Chrisman of Luray; a brother, Darrell Seekford of Rileyville, and a sister, Mrs. Mae Shenk of Samford, Fla. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday in Beahm's Chapel Cemetery by the Rev. P.S. Dovel.
