MOUNTAIN PARK - Funeral for Alice Faye Greear, 62, Mountain Park, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Mountain Park, with Emitt Hayslip, pastor, officiating.
She passed away Thursday, Feb.18, 2010.
Burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery under direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
Alice was born July 3, 1947, in Yakima, Wash., to Floyd and Azell Monk Ward. She married Jerry Greear on June 14, 1966, in Roosevelt. She was a wonderful cook and worked at the Mountain Park Café for many years. She also worked with her family in a landscaping business. She was an artist with a weed-eater.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Mike Russo, Indiahoma; two sons and daughters-in-law: Steven and Jenny Greear, Stratford; and Bruce and Amy Greear, Mountain Park; a sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Roy Long, Yukon; a brother, Andy Ward, Pryor; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; an uncle, Jerry Monk, Locust Grove; and many other family members, friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons: Christopher Greear and Quentin Greear; and two sisters-in-law: Carol Ward and Wanda Greear.
