Neva Dean (Taylor) Williams was born May 11, 1928 in Step Rock, Arkansas. She went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2010 in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 1 day. She was a member of the Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnna Azalea Penn Taylor and her father, Oran Jasper Taylor; a great-grandson, Mason Dean Passmore and a great-granddaughter, Mirella Celeste Redman.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Willard S. Williams; her daughters, Freda Sowell and her husband, Paul; Judy Cleveland and her husband, Norman; Willa Gillam and her husband Don and Teresa Reynolds and her husband, Randy; her son, Edwin Williams and his wife, Susie; 2 brothers, Dale Taylor and his wife, Orean and Glenn Taylor and his wife, Jo Ann; a sister, Barbara Huntsman and her husband, James; a sister-in-law, Ruth Gough; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Services will be Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
