Funeral services for Miss Cassie Smith, 58, were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Associated Funeral HOme. Rev. Elmer Mason officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Miss Smith died Saturday morning after a long illness at the home of her sister, Eunice Ward.
A native of Robertson County she was the daughter of the late James J. and Tennie Stack Smith.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Ream Rawls, Greenbrier; Mrs. Eunice Ward and Mrs. Leslie Jones of Springfield and sister-in-law, Mrs. C. Justice Smith of Nashville.
