Mrs. Kathryn Bauman
Chenoa - Mrs. Kathryn Bauman, a life long resident of Chenoa, died
suddenly at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her son, John N. Bauman in
Pontiac where she had been residing this winter.
Mrs. Bauman is the mother of M.L. Bauman of Chenoa. No funeral
arrangements have been made.

Mrs. Bauman Rites
Chenoa - The funeral of Mrs. Kathryn Feit Bauman, who died Wednesday in
Pontiac, will be held at the local St. Joseph's Catholic church at 9:30
a.m. Saturday. The Reverend Father Hogben will officiate and burial will
be in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Bauman was born in Bisen, Luxenburg, Germany, on June 24, 1843. She
came to America when 18 years old and resided near Peoria. She was united
in marriage to Nicholas Bauman, Feb. 2, 1871 at Metamora.
Surviving are five children: Kathryn Trausch and Nicholas Bauman, Eagle
Grove, Iowa; John N., Pontiac; Steven and Michael, Chenoa. There are also
31 grandchilren and 39 great-grandchildren.
