She was a lovely lady. She was a nurse by trade and worked in Nephi. She would often stop by to see her sister, Edna my grandmother. I used to sit and listen to them talk when I was a child. They were really close and looked a lot alike. She was a Nurse at the hospital in Nephi. She wore a white uniform dress and the white hat.

Arvilla Gwen Boswell Newton, 80, died Thursday, December 24, 1987 in Orem.
Born February 16, 1907 in Nephi to John Henry and Mary Elizabeth Garrett Boswell. Married Fred Newton October 20, 1926 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died April 30, 1956. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in all auxiliaries. She enjoyed doing genealogy and spent many hours doing temple work.
Survivors: sons and daughters, Don Newton, and Reed Newton, both Mona; Von Newton, Nephi; Allen Newton, Goshen; Mrs. Max (Nadine) Green, Tooele; Mrs. J. Wesley (Kathy) Sherwood, Orem; 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, J. Wallace Boswell, Provo; Joseph Boswell, Springville; Mrs. Wilmer (Oneita) Worwood, Mrs Roy (Tola) Talbot, Bakersfield, Calif. Preceded by sister and brother.
Services Tuesday, 1 p.m. In the Mona 2nd Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral home, 94 West 300 North, Monday, 6-8 p.m. And at the church, Tuesday prior to services. Interment, Mona Cemetery.
