MRS. ALLEN, 78, DIES AT HOME

Rites Sunday For St. Paul Resident

Mrs. Walter E. (Edna B.) Allen, 78, died at her home in St. Paul at 8:45 a.m. today. Death was attributed to Bright's disease. She had been in failing health for one year and seriously ill one week.
Services will be held at the Carmony Funeral Home in St. Paul Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. John Boaz of the St. Paul will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born at Brewersville in Jennings County February 2, 1885, the daughter of Sylvester D. and Mary Jane (Hardesty) Adams. She was married to Mr. Allen on March 2, 1904, and he survives with three children, Cline E. Allen of Indianapolis, Mrs. H. Alberta Johns of St. Paul, and Mrs. Marion E. Douglas of R.R.4, Shelbyville. A brother Horace Adams of Indianapolis, six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. One daughter and two sons preceded in death, all in 1918.
Mrs. Allen was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
