Carroll B. Racer, 81, of Rt. 1, Luray died Saturday evening, May 31, at his home.
Mr. Racer was a retired Norfolk and Western Railway conductor.
He was born March 25, 1899 in Page County and was a son of the late William L. and Alice N. Fristoe Racer.
On Jan. 9, 1930, he married the former Carrie Shenk, who survives.
A funeral service was conducted Tuesday morning, June 3, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Frank Hall.
Burial was in Beahm's Chapel Cemetery.
