Eva Leora Holt, 87, of Wichita, Kansas died Thursday in Wichita.

A homemaker, she was a native of Randolph County, Alabama, and a former Borger and Wichita resident for 17 years.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona, Texas.

She is survived by her two sons, Gordon of Wichita, Ks., and James of Sedgwick, Ks.; two daughters, Dorothy Pauline Tompkins of Borger, Mae Brown of Wichita, Ks.; two brothers, Walter Simpkins of Nocona and Eugene Simpkins of Graham, Okla.; one sister Myrtle Hendrich of Borger; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Holt in 1984.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Brown's Chapel of Fountains with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Joe M. Brown, Joe M. Brown, Jr., Dick J. Cook, Kerry J. Bowling, Shay Bowling, and Frank Mecham.

The family will be staying at 210 Maple Street.
