Services for Mrs. W.H. Sloan, wife of the late W.H. Sloan were held at the First Baptist church with Rev. W.H. Townsend, pastor officiating. He was assisted by Rev. T.H. Burton.

She came to Texas with her family at the age of 16 years settling first at Grayson County, Texas.

Survived by one daughter - Maude Lunsford; two sons - Randolph Sloan and Lloyd Sloan; three brothers - Cy Andrews, Jim Andrews, and Dan Andrews; two sisters - Mrs. Lou Ball and Mrs. J.O. McComas; 11 grandchildren.
