Death of Mrs. Mary Jones
Mrs. Mary Jones, wife of Mr. J. D. Jones Sr, of the Upper Fork, died on last Sunday after a long illness. Mrs. Jones was a most excellent lady and had many friends and relatives all over the county who will be pained to hear of her death. She was for many years a member of the Baptist church and was a true, exemplary Christian. She will be greatly missed by many to whom she had endeared herself by her many acts of kindness. Mrs. Jones was the mother of Mrs. Dr. Hydrick and Mrs. Jas Zeigler, of our city. These ladies have the sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement. Mrs. Jones was about seventy-five years of age.
