Services for Rene Dean Lindeman, 24, were held at the Ninilchik High School with Father Thaddeus Dean officiating. There was a visitation at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Ninilchik. Mr. Lindeman died June 22 in a three-wheeler accident in Ninilchik.
Born June 4, 1962 in Mankato, Minn., he was an 18-year Alaska resident. He had attended the Worthington Junior College in Minnesota, had placed all- conference in basketball in 1980, and loved hunting, fishing, hiking and softball. He was working on the North Slope and as a commercial fisherman at the time of his death. He leaves his parents, John and Delores, of Ninilchik; and his sisters, Ronna, Kristi, Kelli, Angela and Corrie, all of Ninilchik. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Peter the Apostle Church, Box 290, Ninilchik, 99639. Funeral arrangements by Homer Funeral Home.
