MRS. ADA COOK, WEST MATRON, IS VICTIM OF DEATH
Mrs. Ada Cook, lifelong resdent of Attala, died Tuesday at her home at West, route 3, after a short illness. She was 68 & the widow of Willis Cook.
Mrs. Cook was a member of the Baptist Church & active in church & community affairs.
Funeral rites were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Providence Bapt. church conducted by Rev. Ellis of West. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral home.
She leaves 2 daughters, Mrs. Eulalis Butler, West, route 3 & Mrs. Elzada Williams, Marigold; 1 son, M.D. Cook, West, route 3; 1 brother, Monroe Townsend, West, route 3.
