ABBOTT, SUE - friends and relatives here regret to learn of the sudden death of Miss Sue Abbott, 58, Washington, DC. on Sunday morning. Her death is attributed to a heart attack. A native of this county, Mattie Susan Abbott was born September 21, 1888, at Rileyville, d/o the late Robert Harvey Abbott and Mattie M. Beahm Abbott. Brothers and sisters: Daniel Abbott, R. H. Abbott, Mrs. Arthur Printz, Mrs. Frank Burner and Mrs. Carl Wood, all of Rileyville, Frank Abbott, of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Lewis Foster of Delphi, In. One brother, Charlie Abbott, is deceased. Burial was in Beahm's Chapel cemetery. (issue 14 Aug 1947)
