Mrs. Abbott was born May 8, 1886, at Sperryville and was a daughter of the late John W. and Tompsy Dwyer Kindall.
She was raised by Samuel and Betty Beahm in the Rocky Branch section of Page County and later returned to her fathers home in Rappahannock County.
She was a member of the Luray Seventh-day Adventist Church, and for many years was a head deaconess of the Rileyville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
On November 15, 1911, she married Thomas W. Abbott, who died January 28, 1948.
Surviving are three sons, William D., Walter T., and V. Elmo Abbott, all of Rileyville, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by Pastor Alvin Cook. Burial will be in Beahm's Chapel Cemetery.
