Alfred Earl Roberts

Funeral services for Alfred Earl Roberts, 91, of Grenada, were Monday at Garner-Harper Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Red Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill.

Mr. Roberts died Feb. 12, 2010, at Grenada Living Center.

He was born July 25, 1918, in Pope County, Ark., to the late George Edgar and Lucy Harding Roberts.

Mr. Roberts was a retired farmer and a member of the Southside Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Phebia Holt Roberts and Armon Roberts.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Moorman of Scobey and Linda Baxley of Victoria, Texas; a son, Eddie Roberts of Cascilla; a step-daughter, Peggy Usery of Grenada; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Southside Church of Christ.

Garner-Harper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
