SPITZER--At residence , 3396 Rockwood Ave, Monday evening, Oct.10, 1932 at 11:45 o'clock, Arminta Hood, aged 62 years, wife of Philip Spitzer, mother of S.P.Green, J. T. Green, Mrs. Ola Leitch, Mrs. C. W. Boyd, Mrs. W. T. Henry and Mrs. W. A. Mahoney, all of this city; sister of Mrs. Laura Watson, Mrs. Lily Boswell and Arthur Hood, of Delon, Texas
Funeral services conducted by the Rev. E. J. Hill, will be held at the residence, 3396 Rockwood Ave., Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Following services, the body will be forwarded via the Illinois Central Railroad to Yazoo City, Miss. for interment. Thompson Brothers
THE YAZOO HERALD, Oct.14, 1932, Yazoo, MS, Mrs. C. W. Boyd Loses Mother; Mrs. Arminter H. Spitzer Brought to Yazoo City For Interment: Mrs. C. W. Boyd has the sincere sympathy of friends in the death of her mother, Mrs. Arminta Hood Spitzer, age 62, which occurred Monday, October 10, in Memphis, Tenn. Her remains were shipped to Yazoo City and her funeral was conducted from the train. Rev. Webb Brame, pastor of the First Baptist church of this city officiated at the services and the local burial arrangements were in care of Stricklin's. Interment was in Glenwood Cemetey Mrs. Spitzer is survived by two sons, J. T. Greene* of Memphis, Tenn. S. P. Greene* of this city; four daughters, Mrs. Ola Leatch and Mrs. Vina Henry of Memphis, Tenn. Mrs. W. Mahoney of Belzoni and Mrs. C. W. Boyd of this city.
