Funeral services were held Friday morning for Mrs. Isabel Cast Mansfield at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Iri Cathcart in DeLand; burial was in DeLand cemetery. Mrs. Mansfield had been in failing health, due to cancer, for more than a year, but she had been bedfast only the last two weeks.

Isabel Cast was born Feb 26, 1860 the d/o John and Sarah June Cast at Buffalo Park, IL. She married Jacob Mansfield of DeLand in 1889; they made their home there. They were the parents of three daughters: Mrs. Della King, ElPaso, Mrs. Irl Cathcart, DeLand, and Mrs. S. Sidney Tapscott of Scottsburg VA, all of whom survive. Mr. Mansfield preceded his wife in death several years ago; she later was married to Richard Tilson of DeLand. He died a few years ago.

Isabel was a member of the Methodist Church, having joined the local church when she was a young woman.
