Canadice, N. Y. - John M. Hicks was suddenly taken ill on Saturday last while at a neighbor's house, and died at 5 o'clock on Sunday morning. He had been in poor health for nearly a year, but as he was able to be around at all times, his death was a shock in the community. He leaves a wife, one son and two daughters. The funeral was held on Tuesday.
