THEODORE LOCKHART
Theodore R. (Ted) Lockhart, 69, of 412 Elm St., Belpre, died Wednesday evening at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Wirt County, a son of Monroe L. and Sarah Michael Lockhart. He was retired after 25 years of employment at the Walker Parkersburg Division of Textron.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Matson Lockhart; two sons, Remma E. of Wellsville, Ohio, and Chester G. of Belpre; a brother, Edward of Chester; a sister, Lottie Petty of Parkersburg; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, and a sister.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Franklin & Son Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don S Seevers officiating. Burial will be in the Elizabeth Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and until time of the services on Saturday.
