T. E. Whitlock, 88, Retired Farmer Of Raleigh, Dies

Thomas E. Whitlock, 88. retired farmer who was bom and spent his entire life in the Raleigh area, died at the Harrisburg hospital yesterday at 9:25 p m.

He was bom Sept 19, 1867, the son of W. H. H. and Mary Whitlock.

Surviving are the following children: Miss Blanch Whitlock who resides in the nursing home at Galatia. Lee of Pontiac, Mich,, Ralph, RFD 4, Harrisburg, Jesse, Galatia Mrs. Bessie Tison, Pontiac, Mrs. Bertha Hubbard, Pontiac, Mrs. Pearl Somers, Pontiac, Walter, RFD 4, Harrisburg, Clifford, Pontiac, Tommy, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Arthur of Harvey; 32 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren:
three sisters. Mrs. Winnie Newcomb. Raleigh, Mrs. Maude Butler Eldorado, Mrs. Grace Oglesby. RFD 4, Harrisburg; also one brother, Jack Whitlock, Raleigh.

His wife, Ida, died July of 1955.

Mr, Whitiock was a member of the Lone Oak church near Raleigh here funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p m . Rev. Irvin Bradea will officiate and burial will be in the Raleigh Masonic cemetery.

The body lies in state in the chapel of the Harrisburg funeral home.
