She was born November 18, 1910 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late John Robert Hardy and Lela May Street Hardy. She was united in marriage to Rodney Irby, Sr. She was a homemaker and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church at Cove. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, an friend.
She is survived by:
Sons: Rodney Irby, Jr., and his wife Alice of Florence, Mississippi Haywood Morris and his wife Silver of Jenks, Oklahoma
Half-Brother: J. D. Hardy of Harrisonburg, Louisiana

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie Jewell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
