She was united in marriage to Rodney Irby, Sr. She was a homemaker and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church at Cove. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, an friend.

Sons: Rodney Irby, Jr., and his wife Alice of Florence, Mississippi Haywood Morris and his wife Silver of Jenks, Oklahoma

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie Jewell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
