Mrs Fannie Starr
Lexington. AUG 20-Mrs. Fannie Owens Star, 69, a resident of Route 6, Lexington, died yesterday in the Lexington Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack. She was survived by five sons, Jesse Starr of Route 6, Lexington, Roy and Willie Starr, both of Lexington, Ralph Starr of the home and High Star of Elon College; four daughters, Miss Sarah Starr and Miss Helen Starr of the home, Mrs. James Owens of Route 7, Lexington and Mrs Bill Frye, of Route 6, Lexington; three step sons, Ed Starr of the home, Fred Starr of Sanford, Fla., and Forrest Starr of Durham; one brother. Roy Owens of Winston-Salem; one sister, Mrs Thad Leonard of Linwood; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. uneral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. W.E. Sampson officiating. Burial will be in the Holloways Baptist Cemetery.
