Clemons "Jim" Leo Hawkey 89 of Bloomington died March 10, 1999. Clemons was born March 16, 1909 in LaClede township,Loogootee. The son of John and Rosa (Weber) Hawkey. He married Susia Pearl Horath on April 6, 1935 she died Feb. 27, 1975.
He is survived by seven daughters , Charlene Wilkins, Shirley (Bob) Funk, Marjorie Watkins, Beverly (William) Sellberg, Patricia (Duane) Buck and Linda (William) Roland, Brinda (Perry) Hardin; three sons Russell, Alfred (Evelyn) and Robert (Shirley).
His parents eight brothers, Frank, Albert, Rudolph, Lewis, George, John, William, and Joseph; six sisters Clara, Mable, Rose, Johanna, Frances and Augusta and one great-great-granddaughter preceded him in death.
