She accepted Christ at an early aage, was baptized and united with the New Hope Baptist Church in Alto, Tx.
She attended elementary and senior high school in Alto. Upon graduation she moved to Houston acquiring various phases of learning, especially in the field of Cosmetology from Franklin Beauty school.
She was an active member of the Gospel Choir until health didn't permit her to further her service in New Hope Baptist church where she served for many, many years.
She leaves to mourn her departing: 5 sisters, 2 brothers, nieces and nephews.
