Janice Marie Bland, 62, of 1363E 500S, Wabash IN died Friday, Sept. 26, 1997 at her residence. She was born Aug. 11, 1935 at Wabash to Carl and Ruth (Eckman) Grimm.
She was a member of the Wabash Freewill Baptist Church on Erie St. For the past seven years, she made her home with two very special people, Jack and Shirley Sparks.
She is survived by two brothers Dorwin "Bud" Grimm and Larry Grimm, both of Wabash; two sisters Judith Murphy of North Manchester, and Jo Ann Garrett of Marion, IN.
Funeral was held Monday, Sept. 29, at the Wabash Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Venny VanHoose and Jack Sparks officiating; burial was in Falls Cemetery of Wabash. Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 86 E. Main St., Wabash, was in charge of arrangements. Preferred memorials are to Wabash-Miami Home Healthcare & Hospice.
