The funeral will be 4 pm Sunday at Hebron United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Brockington Funeral Home.
Mr. Baker was born in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Harvey Baker and Mrs. Sarah C. Baker. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Valeria H. Baker of Cades; three sons, Calvin Baker of Greeleyville, James C. Baker, Jr. of Walterboro and Robert D. Baker of Cades; three daughters, Mrs. Alton Evans of Orangeburg, Mrs. Harold Wilson of Sumter and Mrs. Vernie Owens of Cades; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
