She married Ralph L. Buechner, on October 1, 1949, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Mount Horeb. Beverly & Ralph celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary together with their family in July. Beverly loved and cherished her family and her life. She devoted her life to raising her nine children and was co-owner and bookkeeper for Buechner Contruction and Redi-Mix. Beverly created a community of love.
She loved being with her family and enjoyed traveling, boating, and reading. Beverly was a great inspiration to us all. She lived her life loving and caring for people. Her faith provided her great joy and comfort. She had a delightful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Her love of life never waned even during the difficult time preceding her death. She showed us how to live and die with dignity, courage, and a never-ending smile and a heart filled with love.
Beverly leaves behind her husband, two daughters and their husbands, seven sons, six daughters-in-law, 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a sister and her husband, a sister-in-law, one niece and her husband, and many other family member and friends.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Anne Birrenkott, and by her nephew, Tim Doyle.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Mount Horeb.
