I believe this is Thomas Shelton h/o Mary Jamison, I think they had 3 daughters that married brothers named Bray in Madison Co. Ky. Thomas' birthdate should be 1766.
The other Thomas Shelton was a Minister and was killed Indians about 1797 traveling from Madison Co Ky. to Va, he was a son of William and Lucy Harris Shelton of Albemarle Co Va.

Thomas' father William Shelton died in 1789 and lived on Mechum's River. His mother was Elizabeth. In 1794 Thomas, Mary his wife and mother Elizabeth left the county after selling what seemed to be a portion of their estate to Tarleton Woodson. -- Information from Albemarle County in Virginia by Rev. Edgar Woods published in 1901
