Last Thursday a child of George Attig, who lives four miles north of Hubbell, met its death in a fearful manner. It was standing on a chair and fell off, overturning a kettle of boiling water on itself, and expired almost instantly. The funeral was largely attended on Saturday by sympathizing friends and neighbors.
