Mrs. Fred Dewey, one of the old residents of this community passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Hall, in Wadena, on Last Thursday. Mrs. Dewey had been a resident of this community for twenty-five years.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, October 28th at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian church in Brook, Rev. Benj. H. Cain conducted the services, assisted by Rev. E. A. Ellis of Swanington. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.
