Edna Mae Spinks, 78, Borger, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 1996 in Pampa Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Jack Spinks, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

A native of Tell, she had been a longtime Borger resident. She was a retired supervisor with Texas School Lunch Program.

She was a former teacher with Borger School System in the 1940s and former dietician at North Plains Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of Royal Neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Survivors include three brothers, Aubrey Spinks of Borger; Curtis Spinks of Stinnett; and Weldon Spinks of Childress; two sisters, Betty Jo Black of Groom; and Syble Bennett of Fritch; several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, Panhandle Chapter, 2200 W. 7th, Amarillo, Texas 79106.

The family will be staying at 127 Wilshire.
