FRITCH - Ray "Pappy" Burris, 74, of 232 Overland Trail, Fritch, died at 12:50 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons.
A retired employee of Natural Gas Pipeline Co., Mr. Burris was a native of Whitewright, Tex. He was resident of Fritch for 30 years, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and of Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge No. 1369 in Fritch.
Survivors are his wife, Jessye; one son, Wayne Burris of Fritch; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Rowh of Fritch; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
