Mr. Quantavia Hill, 16, was a beloved son and friend. He was the oldest child of Octavia Hill and Eric Wise of Atlanta. Quantavia was caring and well-loved by family and friends. "Quan" was a faithful friend, son, brother and nephew. He joined Great Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Quan was a junior at Benjamin Elijah Mays High School, where he played varsity football. He had aspired to become a veterinarian, due to his passion for animals.
Quantavia is greatly missed by his parents, Octavia Hill Grimes, Charles Grimes and Eric Wise; four sisters, Antanisha, Sharaykia, Shaniqual and Zanobia; one brother, Brant; his grandparents, Barbara Hill and Jimmy Hill, and Helen Wise; aunts, cousins, a large extended family and one special friend, LaShunta Wilkerson. Services were held at West Hunter Street Baptist Church in Atlanta, with Pastor Otis White officiating. pallbearers were: Anthony Bird, Kendra Long, Quinton Booker, Anthony Stokes, Mike Jones and Tray Swann. Flower Bearers were: Brittanie Brown, Shalanda Powell, Jeponica Harris and Demiquea Scott.
